Robert. T. Armstrong, DMD

After graduating from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Armstrong completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Armstrong then accepted a position at the Cleveland Clinic, and was promoted to head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. While at the Cleveland Clinic, he was appointed as a team doctor for both the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA team and the Cleveland Browns NFL organization.

Dr. Armstrong is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also an active member in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Onslow Dental Society, and is on the medical staff of Onslow Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Armstrong's practice includes a focus on dental implants, bone and soft tissue reconstruction of the jaw, removal of teeth (including wisdom teeth), corrective jaw surgery, treatment of facial trauma and fractures, and treatment of oral and facial pathologic conditions. Dr. Armstrong has many publications on a variety of oral and maxillofacial topics and enjoys direct patient care.

Dr. Armstrong, his wife Amy and their two young sons live in Swansboro, where he enjoys boating and, sports and is active in local politics.
